Units of the Army and the armed forces on Thursday carried out more military operations against the foreign-backed Takfiri organizations across the country, destroying their dens and hideouts and killing scores of their members.
Idleb
Army personnel defending the National Hospital of Jisr al-Shughour in Idleb countryside destroyed today morning a large refrigerator truck loaded with huge amounts of explosives before reaching the wall of the hospital, killing scores of terrorists who were near the vehicle, a military source told SANA Thursday.
Homs
Units of the army and armed forces killed terrorists of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in the vicinity of Palmyra and al-Sekhneh cities and Rahoum village in the eastern countryside of Homs province.
Daraa
An army unit carried out a number of operations against gatherings of Takfiri terrorist organizations in al-Karak neighborhood, al-Jumrouk al-Qadim and the area surrounding Abu Bakir and Bir al-Shaiyyah in Daraa al-Balad in southern Daraa province.
A number of terrorists’ vehicles were destroyed in the operations and scores of terrorists were killed and others were injured, mostly from Jabhat al-Nusra and the so-called Tawhid al-Janoub Brigade,
Mujahidi Horan Brigades and Madfa’aet Sijil Brigade.
An army unit also thwarted an attack by Jabhat al- Nusra terrorists against a military post in al-Hirak city in the northeastern countryside of Daraa, killing many them and injuring others, in addition to destroying their arms and ammunition.
Quneitra
In Quneitra western countryside, an army unit destroyed a number of the terrorist organizations’ vehicles and their supply routes, killing scores of terrorists in al- Hamidiya village
Hasaka
Units of the army and armed forces directed intensive blows against gatherings of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria ISIS terrorist organization in the western countryside of Hasaka province.
A source in the province told SANA reporterthat an army unit working in al- Siddiq roundabout carried out an operation against
ISIS dens and hideouts in Um al-Kebar village on the road between al-Siddiq roundabout and Abdul-Aziz mountain road, 30 km to the west of Hasaka city.
The source added that a number of ISIS terrorists were killed in the operation and their vehicles and ammunition destroyed.
The Syrian government forces, in a fresh round of operations on Friday, stormed the al-Nusra Front’s concentration centers in the Southern province of Dara’a and pushed them back from their positions, provincial sources said.
The sources told the FNA that strongholds of al-Nusra Front in al-Ghariyeh al-Gharbiyeh, Kafar Shams and Mhajjeh in the countryside of Dara’a province, were massively pounded by the Syrian army men, who pushed the fighter back from their frontline and killed scores of them.
On Tuesday, the Syrian Army, along with popular forces, pushed back the militant groups from some of the battlefields in Dara’a, and killed or wounded tens of the fighters.
The sources said that an arms depot of rebels was targeted by the Syrian army in al-Faqei town in the Northern countryside of Dara’a.
In the meantime, the insurgents’ centers in al-Minshia area in Dara’a al-Balad were raided by the army men, whose operation forced the rebels to retreat from the fighting area.
The surrounding areas near the Camp’s school complex in Dara’a countryside was also the scene of heavy clashes between the army men and the militant groups, who left dozens of killed and wounded behind and retreated to new positions.
The Syrian Army and government have defended their country against insurgents since 2011 when a huge number of foreign terrorists flocked to the Middle-Eastern country.
In spite of certain western states’ military and financial supports for the militants, the Syrian troops have been able to push them back from many areas across the country.
The sources said that several terrorists were killed and wounded as a result of the Syrian army’s harsh response to their attacks.

Earlier this week, military sources said that the Syrian army and the Kurdish Popular Defense Committees are advancing towards Aleppo-Hasaka international highway.
Syria has been grappling with a deadly crisis since March 2011. The violence fuelled by Takfiri groups has so far claimed the lives of over 210,000 people, according to reports. New figures show that over 76,000 people, including thousands of children, lost their lives in Syria last year.
The Syrian army and Hezbollah fighters regained control over Mount Al-Barouh and Al-Ftila Crossing in the Qalamoun region close to the border with Lebanon.
Tens of Al-Nusra Front terrorists were killed and dozens more injured in the fierce clashes.
Al-Barouh is a strategic region in Al-Qalamoun region and gaining control over it means paving the way for winning back all Al-Jibbeh and Al-Ras al-Ma’areh regions.

The army units and Hezbollah fighters took back Moussa hilltop from the terrorists’ control in Al-Qalamoun.
Also on Wednesday, the Syrian army Hezbollah made major advances in Ras al-Maara barrens in Qalamoun.
The Syrian army troops and Hezbollah regained control of 50% of Ras al-Maara barrens, and recaptured several strategic positions, leaving a large group of terrorists dead.
The Syrian local officials announced that the army and the Lebanese resistance movement took back three strategic hilltops from terrorists’ control in Al-Qalamoun.
The sources said that Mashrou’ Haq Zeaiter, Jour Beit Abdul Haq, and Abdul Haq hilltops in al-Qalamoun, which are also located in the Eastern countryside of the Lebanese town of Nahleh, had been recaptured in the joint operations of the Syrian army men and the Hezbollah forces against the terrorist groups’ strongholds.
The sources added that several terrorists were also killed or wounded in the abovementioned battlefield.
The military observers believe that the gains in Al-Qalamoun region will prevent militants from launching attacks at the Bekaa Valley in Lebanon.

The Syrian Army stormed the rebels’ fortifications in the Northern parts of the Southern province of al-Sweida, and forced the militiamen to retreat from the battlefield, informed sources said.
The sources told the FNA that there were heavy clashes between the army and the militant in the surrounding areas of Dama village, which resulted in killing or wounding of several fighters.
The sources added that the rebel group could not resist against the army’s offensive and evacuated its forces from the area.
Last Friday, dozens of the ISIL terrorists were killed and tens more were wounded in the Syrian Armed Forces’ offensives in al-Sweida.
The sources said that the terrorists’ concentration centers in Tloul al-Fadyayn area to the West of Asfar area were stormed by the army men, who killed and wounded scores of the fighters.
The sources further added that a convoy of the terrorists’ vehicles leaded with weapons and ammunitions was also destroyed in the abovementioned battlefield.
The Takfiri terrorists’ supply routes was also targeted and cut by the army soldiers in al-Badia (desert).

Elsewhere, the Syrian army troops killed scores of the foreign-backed Takfiri militants in Idlib province.

Meantime, the Syrian government forces struck a heavy blow at the Takfiri militants in many areas in Daraa province.
The army destroyed a number of the terrorists’ concentration centers in the neighborhood of al-Karak, and al-Jomruk al-Qadeemm in Daraa al-Balad neighborhood in Daraa.
Also, the Syrian armed forces identified and targeted a group of terrorists near the border with Jordan.
The sources said that scores of the fighters of al-Nusra Front were killed or wounded in the army’s operations near Nasib border crossing in Dara’a countryside.
The source added that the terrorist group also left behind its equipment and retreated from the fighting area.
Elsewhere, the ISIL hideouts were targeted in military operations in the countryside of Hasaka.
The army destroyed a number of the ISIL terrorists’ hideouts in the village of Um Al-Kebar on road to Abdel Aziz Mountain in Hasaka.
Meantime, the Syrian government troops targeted ISIL’s positions in the Central Homs province, and killed or wounded a large number of the militants, military sources in the province announced on Thursday.
The sources said the Syrian army men, in fresh round of operations in nearby areas of Palmyra and al-Sekhneh cities and Rahoum village in the Eastern countryside of Homs province, pushed back the fighter from their positions and killed scores of them.
Also, all members of a group of ISIL terrorists were killed in the Syrian Army’s ambush in the Southwestern al-Quneitra province.
The sources said that dozens of the ISIL fighters were killed by the army commandoes in the surrounding areas of al-Hamidiaya village in the Western countryside of al-Quneitra province.
Hideouts of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) terrorists were targeted in military operations in the countryside of the Syrian province of Hasaka on Thursday.
The army destroyed a number of the ISIL terrorists’ hideouts in the village of Um Al-Kebar on road to Abdel Aziz mountain in the countryside of Hasaka.
The ISIL Takfiri terrorists currently control shrinking swathes of Syria and Iraq. They have threatened all communities, including Shiites, Sunnis, Kurds, Christians, Ezadi Kurds and others, as they continue their atrocities in Iraq.
Senior Iraqi officials have blamed Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and some Persian Gulf Arab states for the growing terrorism in their country.
The ISIL has links with Saudi intelligence and is believed to be indirectly supported by the Israeli regime.
