Remember Brenda Snipes? The Broward County Supervisor of Elections who presided over hanging chads in 2000 and the destruction of ballots in 2016? Well Tim Canova was the candidate who took on DWS that year, had his ballots destroyed by Snipes and successfully sued Broward County and Snipes. Unfortunately with the ballots gone and no way to verify the results, DQWS was ushered in for another term. Tim has continued to fight for free and fair elections ever since. Tim, a lifelong activist and Law Professor, is now the chairman of Progress For All and is a leading voice is the movement to count every vote, and ensure the integrity of our election system.
