Many Christians believe that the antichrist will sign some sort of 7 year peace agreement with Israel that he will eventually break after 3.5 years. They get this interpretation from bad exegesis of Daniel 9:27. While there are some who debate whether this is actually a prophecy about Jesus, the greater point is that this passage DOES NOT describe some kind of 7 year peace treaty with the modern nation state of Israel.
