After the Oregon Shooting, Obama Wastes No Time Coming After Guns

With the bodies still warm (assuming this wasn’t just another Oregon active shooter drill), and with the “20-year old male” shooter yet to be identified, President Obama wasted no time taking to national airwaves Thursday afternoon with an impromptu press conference targeting guns. The President’s prepared statement quickly moved from mourning the dead to maligning the NRA, the press and guns in general as he implored the American public to support new gun legislation and more “common sense” gun control laws.
Obama began:
“There’s been another mass shooting in America… America will wrap everyone who is grieving in our prayers and in our love. But as I said just a few months, ago, and I said a few months before that, and I said each time we see one of these mass shootings, our thoughts and prayers are not enough. It’s not enough. it does not capture the heartache and grief and anger that we should feel. And it does nothing to prevent this carnage from being inflicted in America. Next week. Or a couple months from now.”
In the prepared speech, Obama – who CNN mockingbird Wolf Blitzer called “visibly shaken”, said,
“We are the only advanced country on earth who sees these kinds of mass shootings every few months. Earlier this year I answered a question in an interview by saying, the United States of America is the one advanced nation on earth in which we do not have sufficient, common sense gun safety laws even in the face of repeated mass killings. And later that day there was another mass shooting in Lafayette Louisiana, later that day… we’ve become numb to this. we talked about this after Columbine, after Tucson, after Newton (Sandy Hook, a proven false flag), after Aurora, after Charleston. It cannot be this easy for somebody who wants to inflict harm on other people to get his or her hands on a gun. And what’s become routine of course is the response of those who opposes any kind of common sense gun legislation.”
Obama then made a not-so-veiled attack directly on the NRA and the Second Amendment:
“Right now I can imagine the press releases being cranked out. We need more guns, they’ll argue. Fewer gun safety laws. Does anybody really believe that?“
The President continued, claiming:
“We know that states with the most gun laws have the fewest gun deaths. We know that other countries, in response to ONE mass shooting, have been able to pass gun laws… Australia. Countries like ours.“
Obama’s mention of Australia is a direct reference to the The Port Arthur massacre of April 28-29, 1996 – a killing spree in which 35 people were killed and 23 wounded. Today that event is largely recognized as having been a false flag operation that was used to disarm the Australian people.
As readers of SGT report fully understand, the rhetoric coming from Obama’s mouth is nothing new. As the Daily Sheeple outlined in June of this year, Obama wants to pass gun control laws like Australia’s false flag mass shooting gun control laws.
