VIDEO: Earthfiles investigative reporter Linda Moulton Howe presented a report about possible Fukushima radiation poisoning. Fukushima’s TEPCO announced that radiation levels in wastewater from the three nuclear power reactors that melted down after the March 11, 2011, earthquake and tsunami catastrophe have been “significantly undercounted,” and now medical authorities are reporting a spike in the number of thyroid cancers being detected.

Linda Moulton Howe discussed how the Fukushima nuclear crisis has escalated to the worst level since the massive earthquake. Fukushima could have leaked so much water without being noticed by regulators at the site and lamented the ongoing policy of downplaying the disaster rather than being honest about its implications.
