NATO Makes Garish Public Display of Weaponry in Convoy Through E. Europe

It has been dubbed the “Dragoon Ride,” a rather ostentatious parade of NATO military vehicles making its way through towns, cities, and along public highways in Eastern Europe. Normally equipment of this type is moved by rail, but somebody obviously wanted to send a statement.

Worth keeping in mind are the comments of a US military officer, which I included in a post two weeks ago:

“So by the end of the summer, you could very well see an operation that stretches from the Baltics all the way down to the Black Sea,” said Col. Michael Foster, of the US 173rd Airborne Brigade. “As you connect countries, there is almost a line of US troops.”

This seems to be very much what they are doing now.

War–what is it good for? Absolutely nothing. But that is the direction things are headed in now. As the journalist Pepe Escobar notes in the video above, the chances of some sort of “incident” triggering a hot war are going up every day.

One thing I’ve noticed–with regard to Israeli as well as US officials–is that they often seem to be of the opinion that all they have to do is to simply fine tune the propaganda enough and presto! The entire world will suddenly agree with them and begin to see the wisdom of their policies. But as the writer of the article below observes, it isn’t that easy.

And what are the EU elite talking about? How best to counter‘Russia’s ongoing disinformation campaigns’. It’s good to know they’ve got their priorities right, isn‘t it?
