Wyoming Congresswoman Liz Cheney lost her reelection bid to a primary challenge from a fellow Republican and while most Republicans appear to be delighted at this outcome, liberals are lamenting the loss of Cheney, one of the few Republicans in Congress willing to stand up to Donald Trump and acknowledge that Joe Biden won the 2020 Presidential election. But Is Liz Cheney, a known warmongering torture apologist and strident anti-choice homophobe, really the kind of person Democrats should be praising so effusively.
