As everyone who lived through the 1990s knows, when Bill Clinton makes a complete, sweeping denial of something, the man is telling the truth. …or, you know – lying. Drawing from the exact “what does ‘is’ mean” playbook that led to his 1999 acquittal (with a little help from a Democrat Senate) of perjury – “I did not have sexual relations with that woman” – Side’o’Beef’s husband attempted to preempt the coming storm with a series of denials cleverly limited to a meaningless timeframe.
