Clarke once said, “Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.” As the technological advancements open up the way for more and more supernatural things, the “religious” experience is examined through products like LSD, or Acid. The recent reports of the first brain scans under the influence of LSD, have given scientists a materialistic paradigm to explain the so called spiritual experiences of such drugs. While openings and bridges may be built with such drugs, ultimately, it appears we are headed towards what Revelation 18 describes as “sorcery” or pharmekeia, that deceives the nations.
