VIDEO: In March of 2011 a massive earthquake rocked Japan. The prefecture of Fukushima saw heavy damage from the quake which was immediately followed by a tsunami. The tsunami caused massive damage to the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant causing radioactive clouds and spillage.

Radiation swept over the area forcing evacuations. To this day many of the areas remained closed and many residents have given up on the hope of returning home.

We took an inside look into the devastation of the region and learned what life is like following a disastrous event, in this case radioactive fallout rendering a region uninhabitable.
