I see that a lot of people are seeking answers to what the patch was all about that was spotted in a U.N. Multi-National Observer Vehicle. Here is the information behind that Skull Patch.

    CSAR means combat search and rescue, a ground combat arm of the Air Force. Air Force patches frequently have skulls on them for combat squadrons. I don’t see any evidence of occult meaning unless you consider all war occultic in nature.

    Everytime these pictures get posted they are brand new vehicles getting driven to a shipment facility. Manufactured here and shipped to a foreign destination. Either the guy driving it used to be int that unit and had it on a notebook on the dash or somebody at the plant that makes it “tagged it” with a unit sticker. Nothing in the picture indicates it was there as an official marking. Furthermore, special units do not mark operational equipment with their insignia. Insignia is for garrison functions.
