On the above video, a hat tip goes to Uprooted Palestinians, which posted it today.

The International Business Times has published an article headlined, “Christians Threatened by ISIS in Lebanon Turn to Hezbollah for Help.” Here’s an excerpt:

The members of the Shiite militia, which the European Union and the U.S. both consider a terrorist group, are concerned about the Sunni jihadis from Syria enough to make common cause with Christians. In fact, the Christians of Ras Baalbek and the Iran-backed militants are downright friendly to each other. In Lebanon’s complex quilt of sects and allegiances, they are pioneering a new approach: Christians and Shiites together, against the Sunni extremists.

I suspect the only people likely to be surprised by this are Americans who watch Fox News and listen to Rush Limbaugh. For as the above video makes clear, friendly relations between Christians in Lebanon and Hezbollah have existed for a long time. It is not, by any means, a “new approach,” as IBT puts it. That being said, I suppose it is nice that the mainstream media are finally catching onto it.
